Bad Dream!
Last night I had a BAD dream... the kind that are soooo real that your emotions
are just wrung out when you wake up. I dreamed that my middle son died. The
grief I felt was SOOOO REAL!!! The pain of it I never want to experience! I can
more understand the pain of loosing a child just after living through this dream (though
I know it can't really compare since I woke up and faced the truth). I will admit that
this child is a BUSY child and I find myself exhausted by him..... but after this dream
I think I have a little more grace today..... He is HERE! He is ALIVE!! God made him
busy as part of Ethan's divine plan and purpose given by God.
I shared some of my dream
with Ethan (I told him that last night I had a very sad dream that he was lost and I
couldn't find him and it made me very sad. I told him I was so happy when I woke
up and realized it was just a dream and my Ethan isn't lost.) He replied that he
is here and gave me a BIG hug!!!! Kids have bad dreams and I think it was good for
him to know that sometimes grown ups have bad ones too, but that when we wake
up we can rejoice in the truth. His HUG made my day!!!!!!!
