SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sun is  SHINING!!!!!  It seems likes weeks since it has been out! I love the sun...... I struggle with winter...... This year I have been doing better....... I don't feel as BLAH as I usually do in the winter.  I think there are two reasons for this: 1) I have been taking 4000 mg of Vitamin D3.... what our body makes from the sun. (which of course it hasn't been doing for long time!) 2) Starting simple family supper has given my mind a good challenge.  I never had as much trouble with winters when I was in college or working.  I think that dreary longs at home get to me more than when my mind is engaged in something that challenges it!  (not that being 100 % mom and wife is not challenging, but I have an inquisitive mind that likes a challenge.... always has) I'm off to run to the bank, and go see some friend's new baby goats!  My husband and I are really wanting to add to our animals..... he has always been a "country boy", but I think he is starting to get more "farm boy" in him!  YEAH!  He called me a few minutes ago and told this friend we would buy one of the baby goats!  They are mini goats.... I eventually want to get a dairy goat, but that will come in time. This spring we will add some pigs and a couple of cows to our homestead.  We have had chickens for 4 years now...... and cats and dogs.... Have a blessed day... Be a BLESSING!
