A recent picture of my "girls"

I have 3 sons and 1 daughter and 23 "girls" as we call them!  I love having chickens, for all of you that are blessed with your own flock you know how funny they can be.  In fact I love all farm animals.  I had a very rough afternoon yesterday so I took my kids over to Prophet's Town State Park to play on the playground and to visit the 1920's farm.  The pigs got me laughing soooo hard!  There is just something very special about the farm.  I only have chickens and cats, but my family knows if I have gone MIA (missing in action) they will more than likely find me out with the chickens!  God speaks to me and comforts me when I am with his creations!

I understand what you are saying:-)

I always feel that way when I go out and hug my goats:-) I also have chickens and cats...and one cat who thinks he's a chicken...lol! He sleeps in the chicken coop and when the chickens are free ranging he sleeps with them under the truck. I think I'll put a pic of that on my blog.

I finally found

someone who enjoys watching chickens!! I just love watching them, it is so peaceful and the Lord often talks to me when I am still and watching the chicks! Thanks for posting!
