Italin Flat Bread

I made home made pizza for lunch today and this recipe was on the back of the shredded cheese package.  I am going to try it soon.  It looks yummy and I bet it would taste great dipped in a pizza sauce or cheese sauce.

Italian Flat Bread

2 cups baking mix

½ cup hot water

2 TBL margarine, melted

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese (or any kind)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tsp parsley flakes

½ tsp Italian seasoning

Mix together baking mix and hot water until stiff

dough forms.  Let stand 10 minutes (rest)  Then

either kneed by hand on  Floured surface 60 times

or kneed in mixer for 2 minutes

Pat dough into 11 inch square on un-greased cooking sheet.

Spread melted margarine on dough.

Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over dough.

Bake 10-12 minutes (450) or until edges are light golden brown.

Cut with a pizza cutter and serve.  Refrigerate any leftovers.
