A gift from my hubby.... and frugal tip!
Sparkling windows!!!!! All 11 (including 2 picture windows) downstairs windows are absolutely sparkling!!!
My hubby is self employed.... this week has been a little slow, so he has used his extra time to bless our yard and home! Yesterday he did the windows (very needed) completely on his own doing! The day before he spent the afternoon cutting down 3 big stumps in the yard.... looks so much better!!! A BIG thank you to my hubby!!!
For the frugal tip....
To clean the windows I mixed up a fresh bottle of my FAVORITE homemade window cleaner.... it is amazing and cheap!! The whole bottle costs a total of .25 and he used 2/3 of the bottle to clean all of the windows inside and out..... not bad! This is just a variation of the multipurpose cleaner I use everyday.....
BEST window cleaner:
1/2 cup white vinegar
2/3 cup rubbing alcohol (I used citrus....mmmm the house smelled so good)
water to fill the bottle
The alcohol really helps speed dry time and there were NO streaks on these windows! The usual recipe only calls for 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol. |

| Our hubbies are like minded - mine worked on the windows yesterday and will finish up today! They look so good! How lucky we are to have husbands willing to pull up their sleeves and help! |
