Apple Cider Vinegar in Chicken Water
Why??? I have read that putting some apple cider vinegar into your chicken's water will help prevent a lot of pecking. My current batch of chickens (I have had this batch for a year) are sooooo bad at pecking. Over half of my chickens have huge bald spots! They are one ugly bunch. They all still lay well, but I am so tirerd of ugly chickens.... my first flock was BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Has anyone tried this? Do you have any other reccomendations?

Tomato juice in the water helps too. We also use a blue/purple antibiotic spray from the local tsc.
