Today was different from the normal Thursdays,
but nice.  My husband had to travel 1 1/2 hours
to finish up a ceramic tile backsplash.  He wondered
if the little kids and I would like to ride along.  We left
at 7:30 this morning and just got to be with him all
morning!!!  It was great.... I love riding in the truck with
him... we can talk... we can just be together!  When we
are at home we both tend to get busy doing our own
tasks that we aren't really together.

On the way home we stopped at the new hobby lobby
(craft strore).  WOW!!!  It is nice and they have some
great sales going on right now!  I din't buy much, just
some card stalk to use to make some home made
cards (I have been inspired by my friend, Leanne).

This afternoon I am home (boys are sleeping) !
I prepared for my second "parenting in progress"
group meeting that I  am now facilitating for our
local crisis pregnancy center.  (It meets tonight)
I am enjoying workingwith parents.
 It is an education group for parents with
children ages birth to two.  My first meeting went well,
I am praying that God continues to use me and grows
this program!!!  God has put a passion in my heart for
helping parents (especially moms).

Tomorrow morning my weekly  "mom's group" will
be getting together in my home.  I love this group!!!
This week our chapter (from the book Power of a
Positve Mom by Karrol Ladd) is about our attitude!
It is focusing on CONTENTMENT rather than PITY!
That "C" word is often looked at like a dirty word!! LOL!!
I know that I do struggle with contentment.  Is anything
ever good enough for me????  I Pray that God does
a work in my heart to help me grow and live in a life
attitue of contentment.  As mothers and wives we
really do set the tone/temperature of our homes!!
We can easily create an atmosphere of frustration,
discontent and strife.  Contentment is like a fire
extinguisher.... banishing the flames that want to
destroy us, our marriages and our  children!!!
