I have a DREAM!!!
For years.... well really for my whole life......
I have had a secret dream...
I think that almost all of us have hidden dreams
deep inside... dreams that often stay burried
under layers of life! We get caught up with the
practicals of the day to day, we get hung up on
our insecurities, we get lost in the business of
making it from morning to night! (and with clean
socks to put on!!) LOL!
My dream has been under the surface covered by the
many responsibilites of education, career, family,
home, marriage and children. However,
the Holy Spirit keeps surfacing this dream and I can't
ignore it any longer!!!
With my husbands blessing and enthusiastic encouragement
I am going to pursue my dream!!! I want to fulfill any
purpose and call God has on my life... I don't want
to live life and then wonder at the end....I wonder
what would have happened if I had been brave enough
to try.......
My secret lifelong dream has been to write a book!
I love to read, to learn and to ponder!
My heart is for women.... the book in my heart is a
non-fiction christian book for my fellow females!
Please pray for me.... I really am just starting out
in this journey.... I have just barely begun to open
the lid to this locked up dream..... The Lord keeps
speaking to me: 15 minutes at a time.... little by little!
So to all of you with secret dreams... I know you can
relate! Dreams are exciting and terrifiying!!! I would
love to hear about your dreams.... we can dream
together! So.... to dreams!!!!!!!

I do know Cara and follow her blog almost daily!
She has been an inspiration to me and God has
used her to encourage me! One time (I attended a
couple of bible studies she lead) she gave statistics
about how many people want to write a book, vs how
many actually do and then how many of them finally
get published! Not encouraging numbers, but the
point is that you have to WRITE if you ever have
hopes of publishing!!!!!! If this is a GOD thing in HIS
timing and in HIS way...... It often takes YEARS to
get book deals... I am not expecting anything over night...
I am going to just do what I know how to do.... OBEY!!!!
See... God already is leading me down the right path... I have gotten to know Cara (which I feel was a plan of God) and then the two of you confirmed that!!!!!
To GOD be the glory..... now I have to OBEY!!!!
