Bekah is home from TX! WhoooHooo!!! It is so nice to have her smile and giggles filling the home again! You know some people think that just because you have so many children you wouldn't miss one of them if they were gone. Or have some idea that I would like the house quiet- the opposite is true! I miss each of them whne they are not home.. nothing can replace their noise, their smile, their impact on the home is vital and sorely missed when they are away! I thought I would share some photos with you of her trip.

Jed is still in NJ and having a delightful time except for the illness that has sweeped through the home. His sweet little lady was taken to the ER with a temp but is home now and they are trying to all get some rest and get better soon.

Joe finally has a day off. I believe he worked 90 hours last week. He has been so tired and I have missed him- he felt so good to just lay in his arms this morning! We are going to just relax today and take some time to enjoy this day of rest. The children and I are looking foward to our visits with friends this next week. I will share photos as we have them!

Have a wonderful weekend with your families dear friends!

With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood

Hi Jeanette,

How are you doing? I'm so sad to see that you all are moving away from CA, but I know that the Lord has good things in store for you! Hey, I met a lady over the weekend (Bekah helped some friends of hers pack this family's house)....they are wanting to buy up in your area, and I mentioned that you all are looking for a buyer for your property. Can you email me at lori at scottdomain dot com so that I can get your phone number to pass onto this dear Christian sister (and I don't know what her name is, I'm sorry.....but I will find out before I give her your phone number) :)

Blessings dear friend!

In Him,
Lori Scott

Greetings! My name is Jeanette Wood. I am the wife to my best friend, Joe and the mother to ten blessings. We have been home educating our children since birth- our oldest is 20 and our baby is 4. We have given birth to six children physically and four were born from our hearts through adoption. We are currently living in Topeka Kansas- moving from our home state of CA on the first of July 2008. Moving is nothing new to the Wood family. We have moved 17 times in the last 17 years. We never know where this journey will take us yet we are confident that He has only good plans for us and we will follow wherever He leads! We love to live simply and are filled with Thanks everyday for the good work He has begun in our lives. Grab yourself a cup of tea and enjoy a visit with me while I allow you to peek into our hearts and home!
