New hair-do and funny moments with Matthew

Due to popular demand I am putting up a photo of my new hair-do! :-) BIG SMILE!



We continue to remain busy getting ready for the move! We have had some encouraging news regarding the strike and seem to have some good interest in the property. I am confident that the timing is going to be perfect for both of these issues and we will be going as a family to MO soon. I will keep you posted as things progress around here!

I have to share something fun with all of you. The children love to go to grandmas and she loves to have them! She purchased them an Xbox with some sweet games and was kind enough to make sure they wouldn't be offensive to her grand babies. The children enjoy playing these games during their visits and do so with moderation. Saturday, when we all loaded up in the car after being at grandmas Matthew said to me, "Mommy how many lives do we have?" With a very perplexed look I said, "How many lives do we have?!?!?" "Yes Mommy. How many lives do we have?" Matthew insisted. "Matthew, we only have one life." I responded. With Shock he said, "ONE LIFE! WHAT?! X-box gives you 4!!!" "Uh.. no Matthew. You only get one life." I reassured him. And with a very serious voice he says quietly, "Well, I better be careful then."

It was so funny the entire car burst into laughter! However, later I started thinking of how many of us never really live this one life that He has given us. It has provided a time of reflection for me to make sure I am really doing what HE has called me to do each day so that I can one day hear, "Well done. My good and faithful servant."

I need to call it a night here. From the entire Wood family, we thank each of you for your love and prayers! This has been such a peaceful time because of His amazing grace and your wonderful friendships! Thank you for taking an interest in our lives! Cheryl.. the children all want to come and see you before we leave. Perhaps we can find a time for fellowship. They remember "Ms. Beautiful" and still giggle over that story. Hopefully, next week we will get to make some visits with friends. We are going to be taking LOTS of photos so get your party hat on and let's make some memories!   :-)

What a sweet couple you make, Mr and Mrs Joesph Wood. You look lovely in your new hair cut my dear.
The cat they say has 9 lives ???? would make you think on it???? WE life forever in eternity. When Jesus came back they didn't reconize him. Thanks for sharing! Believing all is well with you all, rilda

Awww - sniff, sniff - it's really real, huh?! I would love to see you and your precious (gullible, "Ms. Beautiful") children! I'm out of town for business for a few days next week. Please - if you've got a day you need to be in town, I will come meet you somewhere!!
