Living in His Glory....
Hello Friends!
Has anyone ever read the book, I Dared to Call Him Father? It is one of the books the Wood family has finished this month. The author captured our attention in such a way that my Joe and I took turns reading the entire book aloud to the children in one afternoon!! As a family, we love reading books of others and their walks with the Lord. Where the Lord leads them, how He leads them, His faithfulness along the way and the lives that are changed for His Glory. Earlier this month we finished, Heavenly Man, and then started and finished, God's Smuggler. Each of these books have had "hidden messages" for each of the Wood family members in personal ways! The Lord has used their testimonies to encourage us to continue to run this race full force! The main theme from about this book however, was "living in His Glory." Keeping our eyes and attention so aware of His presence that we dare not step out of it. When she did notice that peace was gone she would trace her activity back to when His peace left and then "fix" what needed to be fixed. It was such a good reminder for each of us to be ever aware of His presence in our lives.
Oops! I need to close for now... a little one just broke something.... living in His glory in the midst of Life... Lord, help me with this!!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood

Hello Mrs. Wood,
It was so nice to hear from you again!
Oh how wonderful to read together as a family, I truely believe that is ten times better then watching movies together. Especially when you read such good books.
I have never heard of the book you mentioned, but I loved the title, it has been something I have been dwelling on alot lately. "I can HIM Father!" When you think about it is quite amazing! The God who created the unvierise, something we will never come to understand, He created with a single word. The God who made something as complex as atoms, who can make a blade of grass grow, who created the beauty of the world with just a word, I can HIM Father!
One of the loveliest thoughts is that when He was creating is lovely new world He was thinking about time and history and thought for a moment about each of us and said, "I want Heather to be my daughter."
When I thinking about that I feel very humble. Why should the God who created the univrse so much as look at me? It would harm Him none if He just forgot me, what am I to Him? Nothing. And yet He did not think so. He thought I was special, and He wanted me to be His daughter. When Jesus was dying on the cross maybe He even thought of us, one by one, and thought, "This is for them."
It just amazes me! That is love! And I know no matter how much I love Him, no matter how much I serve Him, no matter how thankful I am for what He has done for me, it is nothing compared to what He did for me, my love is nothing compared to His love for me.
I will be praying for you and your family!
Sending my love, Heather
