Hello Friends!
We are enjoying our visits with friends this week. Each time of fellowship has been absolutely delightful! I will post photos and memory making moments with you later for now, I wanted to share a video my Bekah girl made of her and I learning to ride a skate board... YES! You heard me right... I am learning to ride a skate board! Actually, one of her friends can do amazing things on a skate board and I had the crazy idea that I could learn. If nothing else... it gave me a good laugh!!! Enjoy!
Oh.. and before the video I have to share this sweet photo of my Bekah girl and I. It feels so good to have her home. She is precious to me!!!

Have a wonderful day dear friends!
With much love,

Bekah is home from TX! WhoooHooo!!! It is so nice to have her smile and giggles filling the home again! You know some people think that just because you have so many children you wouldn't miss one of them if they were gone. Or have some idea that I would like the house quiet- the opposite is true! I miss each of them whne they are not home.. nothing can replace their noise, their smile, their impact on the home is vital and sorely missed when they are away! I thought I would share some photos with you of her trip.
Jed is still in NJ and having a delightful time except for the illness that has sweeped through the home. His sweet little lady was taken to the ER with a temp but is home now and they are trying to all get some rest and get better soon.
Joe finally has a day off. I believe he worked 90 hours last week. He has been so tired and I have missed him- he felt so good to just lay in his arms this morning! We are going to just relax today and take some time to enjoy this day of rest. The children and I are looking foward to our visits with friends this next week. I will share photos as we have them!
Have a wonderful weekend with your families dear friends!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood
Mom and dad teasing each other on who the "big" spender really is...
Bekah on a bull... she is ready to dismount.. can you tell? She wasn't crazy about this bull riding idea!
I just loved seeing all the photos of my parents so happy! They are such a blessing to us. I am glad they were blessed to spend time with my Bekah girl!!!
Cattle coming through the streets of town!
My bekah girl wanted to get this photo of her and the chaps that have our family name on them( well almost.. we are Wood not Woods ). She said they were over a 100 years old.. .maybe one of our great grand dads wore them? Whoo knows!

Hello Friends!
We continue to wait on the Lord for His perfect timing with our move. Today the Lord reminded me of the verse that says, "The Lord loves those that put their trust in Him." WOW! He loves me because I trust Him! I chose to trust Him even when life circumstances don't match what He has spoken to my heart. Joe and I were talking the other day about how God is always bringing us to this place of trusting Him when there is no physical evidence that we can put our hands on.
The children have been busy with school work, packing and helping at Grandmas house. I had the children take their year end test and everyone has done wonderfully!!! I am so proud of their hard work and praise God for such a peaceful school year. I am going to be buying them the next years books and have them go ahead and get started early since we don't have the ranch activities to keep us busy this Summer. The children and I are also planning on taking a trip through California and using it as a time to learn California history as well as visit friends and family. We will see how the Lord directs us- it really depends on if we have enough time here before we move.
Bekah is enjoying a trip to TX with grandparents and is learning a great deal! She said she really enjoyed the J.F.K. museum as well as the rodeos. She actually got on a bull that weighed 3000 lbs and had horns that spanned over 9 feet!! I found that to just be amazing!!!
Jed is in NJ visiting the young lady he is courting. He called me this morning to let me know he was enjoying his visit and planning a day out with his young lady and her momma. I trust that the Lord is letting Jed be a blessing to their family and he is being blessed as well by them. It's hard to believe he will be 20 this year isn't it friends?
Well, I had best go for now. The little ones are all playing outside and I don't want to miss hearing their laughter!
We send our love to each of you!!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood

Hello Friends!
This week I have been so blessed as I wait on the Lord! Wed. the children and I delivered the bees to a friend here. Each of the children had tears over certain animals that left the farm. For Timmy, it was his bees. He had saved to buy his bees and then the Lord had provided all his bee supplies in miracle ways! I thought we might have more tears when we picked the bees up from the post office however, the Lord had worked on his heart and it was good to hear him say, "Momma are we ready to go get my bees... I mean God's bees?" It finally sunk in... everything we have is the Lords so hold onto it carefully.. not too tight and not carelessly so either.
Our precious friends allowed Timmy to help them put the bees in their new hives. He had such a sweet time. Oh, how he LOVES bees!!! I have posted several photos to share. It was a delightful day, how blessed we are!!
Timmy picking up the bees from the post office
Timmy VERY happy as he takes his bees to the car to deliver to friends
Getting the hives ready
Putting the queen in her spot
Bees getting introduced to their new "hive"
Feeding the bees
Closing the hive and calling it a day
What a wonderful time we had. It was peaceful, joyful and 100% delightful!! We trust the Lord will allow us to have our own hives once we get settled in MO. For now, we thank Him for trusting us to deliver HIS bees to their new caretakers! Precious memories were made!!!
Have a wonderful weekend with your family, we will chat soon!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood

Welcome to Acres of Blessings also known as: AB-Ranch
My name is Jeanette Wood. I am the wife to my best friend, Joe and the mother to ten blessings. We have been home educating our children since birth- our oldest is 19 and our baby is 4. We have given birth to six children physically and four were born from our hearts through adoption. We are currently living on 40 acres up in the Sierras, near Yosemite National Park. The Lord has blessed us richly! We love to live simply and are filled with Thanks everyday for the good work He has begun in our lives. Grab yourself a cup of tea and enjoy reading the sometimes hillarious and other times heartbreaking activities here at AB-Ranch!
