Ten things I'd tell people to try:

1. Draw Horses
2. To read The Bible
3. Press flowers when you're bored...
4. Sew
5. Collect buttons and put 'em in a button jar...
6. Try making a homemade bird feeder... DEFINATLY
7. Get ahead and make a month's worth of bread..
8. Plan the month's menu (meal menu)
9. Order some magazines if you run out of a suscribtion
10. Read a good book...

I really like the button collecting :) I have a big tin full of buttons that belonged to my dh's grandma. We have lots of fun making collages and things with Grandma's buttons.

My children think I am a bit strange, but the grand kids fully understand. I just love buttons!!

It all started when I was about 4 or 5. my great grandmother ,who I loved dearly , had a fruitcake tin full of buttons. I would lay in the floor for hours sorting them and playing with them.

I have a very extensive button collection of my own now. My grand kids love to play with them the same way I did as a child.
