BIG trouble......baby update!!

As some of you know, I'm due to have a baby next week (induction). Well, I went in yesterday to have a sonogram at the doc's office just to check the size and weight (as I tend to have large babies)........and ........*gulp*.......I'm at 38 weeks, but my baby is measuring 40 weeks, and weighs between 8 lbs 9 oz and 8 lbs-13 oz....

At a week to go....I'm going to be giving birth to a toddler.

On the upside...he's appears to be healthy!! I can't wait to meet my little....er.....BIG baby boy!!!

Guess I need to start picking names out, huh?? LOL!!

My 4th child 2nd son was 9pounds 1 ounce and had a 15in head.. He was big, but he was the easiest baby I had..:) Good Luck.. Can't wait to meet your new little one

Just wanted to wish you lots of luck for next week! My daughter weighed the most out of all 3 of my children. She was 8lb 9oz. I was induced with her, and ended up having an 18 hour labor, my longest one yet. Praying you have a quick and easy labor and birth!

Mine were 8' 10 oz.- dd, 9' 11 oz. -ds, and 9' 13 oz.-ds. The doctor told me that my babies were just going to get bigger and bigger, I only have the three. LOL
One thing to watch out for tho, is that women who have larger babies are prone to diabetes, which I now have. Good luck, keep us updated.

Big Babies

Like momma25js, my 4th has been my largest so far. She was a bouncing 9 lbs. 10.2 oz, with a 14 in. head. My doctor likes to say she was born with just one push. It would have been two pushes, but he took a long time getting across the room, and I was afraid she'd come before he got there, so I really tried NOT to push with the first urge! So, being big won't necessarily mean it'll be difficult- or at least anymore difficult than any of them are:) I was also induced. I'm sure that, with God's help, all will go well for you!

Congrats on the baby. I am sure things will be fine!! We will be praying for a easy labor and a beautiful healthy baby!!! I can't say I had any big ones, mine were 7.4 lbs, 5.14lbs, and 6 lbs. Hope you post some pics when you are able!!!

Hi there!
I just wanted to wish you belated luck on a speedy delivery. My son was large and long! But after my water broke, he was born 27 minutes later. It was a little hard but he was a very peaceful baby. I am a little jealous that you are sure to be snuggling with a precious one by now. God bless you and your family.
