Why teachers 'should stop pupils raising their hands'

...because it holds back more timid, "invisible children" who fail to make enough progress at primary school.

Are they not being properly socialized in schools??  I thought only homeschoolers weren't supposed to interact well with others.  ::rolling eyes::

I was the timid "invisible" child in public school, my homeschooled son is incredibly social and hardly timid.  Go figure.

Yea both of my boys make friends with everyone they meet! Joey was at the ball diamond last night and had made no less than 4 by the time we left! They are such social misfits.......
