Its been a whirlwind around our home for several months.  I wanted to write today to let you know that I spoke to Glenda Gay this morning and she is not having surgury this morning on her kidney, they have postphoned it until the 18th. She has a rampant infection that continues to weaken her and keep her feeling awful! She is still very weak but God is faithful. They are doing alright!  Homeschooling has begun and she has a routine in place. Bills are being met, though always with complete dependence on God for she is so thin and so weak, you wonder in person how she can physically do anything!  God is good, and she has a good doctor, the port is in for the kidney treatments and she is doing all that she can to do what she can.

   Words of encouragement would be so helpful. She doesn't have email, home phone or internet anymore, but you are welcome to write her at her home:

God is making it clear to Glenda that He is ever present in times of need.  It is very difficult for a busy lady like Glenda to stand being chronically ill, so please continue to pray for her healing, her strength, peace, wisdom and protection of her children! She is a beautiful lady and the children and she are so very precious!

I'm sure you're busy and I hate to ask you this...but when you get Glenda's zip code up, will you please let me know? I would appreciated it.

Also...next time you talk to her please tell her that I'm praying for her and I miss her blog and great comments. :-)

I was thinking and praying for Glenda this weekend, so I am so thankful someone has spoken to her and returned with a report on her health and the family. Keep us posted when you can please!!

I already had her address, and I just sent a thinking of you card to her this weekend. I miss Glenda's reports, and I know she misses all of us. If any of you know Glenda, please take a minute or two and write her a short note of encouragment!!
