I have decided to leave my Patriotic music up in running and will do so until our Presidential Election. As morale for the American Public is slightly low, I wanted something to help us reflect on what our Founding Fathers based this country on so many years ago. My decision won't be based on words freely spoke, but on actions that deserve my vote. I will vote based on the Love of my country as well as it's people and for those who freely fight to keep me safe. While I don't enjoy war with anyone, including the innocent, I also want to be sure those who are fighting for my freedom and their families are kept safe. Thats where my vote and that of other Americans is most important. Please Join me in prayer for my country as we embark on hard decisions and fight for the freedoms and privledges set by our Founding Fathers and fought so bravely over the years by American Soldiers. I pray also for friends and family of other soldiers from other countries who also fight for the freedoms of their countries. In God may we ALL trust! Love to each and every one of you no matter what country your from. ~Rebekah
***Please Keep Steven Curtis Chapman Family in Prayer ***
Thursday, May 22, 2008

I would like to extend our condolences to the Chapman family during this time as they grieve the loss of their 5 year old adopted daughter Maria who died unexpectedly in a tragic accident in their driveway.
The loss happened on the day of their eldest daughters engagement, their sons graduation and just ten days prior was the fifth birthday of their darling daughter.
Please keep the Chapmans in your prayers as they all go through the grieving process. Jesus knows the answer to why so early, but her life on earth will be missed. She made such an impact through Stevens songs and the lives of her family.
In Leiu of flowers the Chapmans have asked that donations be made to Shohannahs Hope in Memory of their sweet girl Maria.

Yes I too was saddend to hear about the passing of their little girl, It also humbles us folks who look up to them to realize they too(artists) are human and they suffer with things too. I believe in what the Chapmans do in raising awareness and hope for orphans and I will keep them in my prayers as they grieve the loss of their daughter. And for the son who was involved, how much turmoil he must be feeling!
