A new Grandchild

Michelle came over this morning to talk to dad and I.  She told us that she is 3 weeks pregnant.  We are not shocked, but then again we are.  Michelle has been dating Gill for 4 and 1/2 weeks now.  They live with his parents.  Michelle told us that she and Gill will get married soon, but her divorce needs to be done 1st.   She also told us she is going to keep looking for a job and try to go to school too.   We will see.  Michelle has not worked a day since she has moved back down here months ago.  Everyone has been supporting her and the babies.  We will love and welcome any grandchild, we just wish she was on her feet taking care of the babies she has now before adding more.     Michelle's sisters are upset and disappointed in her because they have raised Jeffie and Maddie as much as Michelle has.   We need to keep this in prayer and Gods hands where they belong.

This up coming week & windows

This up coming week  I am going to try to get 3 rooms all cleaned out.  I need to go through every thing and find a new home for the items we do not use any more.   I am going to start in the kitchen and then move to the family room and the girls bathroom last.   I also want to go through the garage and start un-packing some of the boxes.  Most of the item will be going to a new home.  I have sooo many boxes of homeschooling books and item that I did not use or will not use again, I will be selling them on ebay.  I am giving my self a month to empty out our small rented storage unit and keep what is needed and find a new home for the rest.  On the farm/ranch we have a huge storage unit that we keep our tack and supplies in.  I have filled it up half way with item we no longer use or need, they will be sold at a huge yard sell once I have it filled with sale items.   I will let you all know when I will list all the home school books and stuff on ebay.

We ordered new windows for the house!  We are soo excited!!!  We have been wanting to get them for years but always did some other project instead.   But this year we did it.  They will be here in 3-4 weeks.  The house will be sooo much cooler and then the air will not be on 24 hours a day.   I will take pictures after they are in.

Today was the last day of vbs.  I had so much fun teaching this week. We had sooo many kids give their hearts to the Lord, it was amazing. I can't wait until Christmas vbs!

Vbs & Chicks

I am teaching 2nd grade this week at our churches vbs.  It is a blast!  They are so much fun.  Today we were teaching about being thankful.  I told the story of the leper's and Jesus.  To make it more real to them I put spotted stickers on them and quarantined them with caution tape.   When I pretended I was Jesus and healed them I waited to see if any one said thank you.  Only 2 did out of the 4 classes I taught.  So then we talked about being thankful.

We had 16 chicks hatch and 3 have been killed by some thing so we brought them in the house.  At this moment I have 13 chicks running around my kitchen.  We have a hen on a nest due to hatch any day and Sweet Pea a goose sitting on a egg due to hatch in a few days also.

It did no good telling the girls to not let the hens make a nest, we are trying to cut down on the animals!  We were down to like 30ish birds from 80, now they added more!!!   I must night speak good english.

Some people do not understand

Some one left a rude comment on my last post.  I wrote about Michelle our daughter and how she is lost in a valley.  Shame on you said I was bashing my daughter.  I am not. I was/am telling the truth about what is going on with her.  Many of my friends have been praying for Michelle and the grand babies and giving me advice, thank you so much for that, I love it!!!!!  We all need prayer and we all can use advice from people who have been there or who are out side the picture and can see things those of us in the picture can not, when we ask for it or share about it.  The blog is where we all can share our hopes, families, trouble, or what ever.  We can ask for help, prayer or what ever.   We as bloggers we can offer advice, prayers to all who need it.  

Shame on you , you are in my prayers.  I never said I did not love Michelle, you judged me on that.  We are not to judge others.

Up date on Michelle and the grand-babies

This is an up date on our daughter Michelle.  I am not bashing her just telling the truth about what is going on with her.

Michelle moved back down here a few months ago.  She got back together with Maddies dad.   After a few weeks she broke up with him.  She left Maddie with us (Jeffie was already here as he did not want to leave us, so she dropped off Maddie)  she took off up north to her boyfriend Ryan she just left a few weeks before.

History here:  Michelle left Matt Maddies dad to date Ryan, she left Ryan to date Matt.  When she broke up with Matt she went back to Ryan for the few days she was up there.

Michelle came home picked up Maddie and was long distance dating Ryan.  While doing this she met Gill staying at her friends house.   They started dating and 2 weeks after dating she moved in with him and his parents!   They have been together 3 weeks now.

She says she has a job at a bar and is getting another.  We will see. But she says Gill is going to watch the kids while she works.  She lost her car by not paying for it.  So she is using one of Gills.

Are 2 cents:   Michelle what are you doing????   To us we see her looking for the easy ride.  She puts all she has into each new guy.  We want her to put all she has into her and the kids.    She does not need a guy, she needs to be a good mom.  Not give the kids a new daddy every few weeks.    Michelle needs to go to school and the state will help her do it, to get her life on the right track.  

We have told her we will help her and the babies.   But we will only help her when she is on the right track, meaning trying on her own not with a new guy every few weeks!    We always take care of the kids, we clothe and feed them and baby sit them a lot.

I must say though we do not watch Maddie as much the last few weeks.  Jeffie has pretty much moved back in her, until Michelle took him to go visit his dad in Vegas.   Michelle is not training Maddie she lets her run WILD.  Maddie does not listen at all! she bites, hits, get into everything.   Maddie is only 2, but is a hand full.  Jeffie 3 is at home in our house, it is his home.  Michelle called and told me Jeffie wants to come home so she brought him back here.   We are going to start watching Maddie with Jeffie and training her.

It was just hard to watch her while we were getting ready for the horse and dogs shows we had last week.  At the ranch Maddie just runs wild and under , around all the animals horse included.  Jeffie he stays in the kids play area and gets naked and plays in a water bucket.   

So I guess we will see how long this boyfriend last.   Right now Gill is giving Michelle what she needs a place to live, a car, money and paying for her and the kids keep.

Sleep

Hubby told me tonight that he wishes I fell asleep when he does.  I did start to got to bed at the same time as him around 11pm  but I stay up and read for hours.    I am a night owl always have been.  Hubby changed his work hours after I broke my leg.  He used to get up a 4:30 am and leave at 5am then get off at 3:30pm.  When he would get home from work it was our time.  We would go work out and just be together time for us all, the babies too.

But his new hours are 9am to 7 pm.  I just plan can not sleep at night.  My Dr. has given me medicine to try , natural stuff, ideas and it just does not work.  I take enough antihistamine at night to put most people to sleep for12  hours!  When I have a bad allergic reaction and the ambulance people give me some and then the hospital gives me more they are all shocked when it does not knock me out out.   But that is just me.  I have a HIGH tolerance to all medicine.   I just can not sleep at night.  I sleep in the morning.  I would like to change it and have tried soooo mannnyyy things it just does not work.   Some times I get only a few hours of sleep to no sleep or 9 hours of sleep but not sound sleep.   I am still trying to go to sleep at semi normal hours.

Prices

Prices just keep going up and up.   When will it stop, or better yet go down some?  Last night on the news here there was a big story about how Albertsons was having a huge 8 hour sale.  But the sale prices were not so good.  I save more money with store adds.  Walmart will match any store add as long as they do not have a club card.  I use this way of shopping a lot.   I love to get 7 avocados for .99 cents and 8lbs of watermelon for .99 cents and other good buys.   I am able to buy fresh fruit and veggies for sooo much less this way and walmart count organic fruit and veggies as regular ones.  So we eat good and so do our animals.    You can save more if you use your coupons to match the sale adds for other stores.  I have been able to get so many items free this way.  Because the coupon price off is the same price as the sale.  Hope this helps you out.

Teenage daughter free to good home

Anyone want my 16 yr old? 

 She thinks she has it sooooo bad, at the moment.  She was told 5 times to get off the computer and would not so she is in trouble.  She says she was not on the computer by watching a video on it  .  Like we are so dumb .  She did not log in the computer to get on (magically logged in some how)  She did not go to the site to watch the video (again by magic)  She did not pick what video to watch ( the site just did it by magic again)  She did not pull the chair up an watch the video, the chair moved by magic.   Amazing to bad she can not clean her room with magic!   She said if she looks at the phone does that mean she is on it? Well yeah if by magic she got it to work and talk to some one on the other end,   just like by magic she got logged in the computer , went to the site, picked out what video to watch

Hello , how dumb do kids today think we are?? Real dumb by what my 16 yr old daughter thinks!

So her punishment is she may not watch movies, videos, u-tube or any type of thing like that because that would be her being on the computer  .  Oh, and she can not go to the pool party she was invited too.   That should teach her to not use magic  again .

I think that is good for an old dumb mom.

It has been a month, wow.

It is hard to believe it has been a month since my last post.   So much has been going on.  Jeffie is back living here with us and his sister Maddie stays a few nights here ans there, like tonight.  Shayna graduated high school almost 2 weeks ago, still hard to believe.  2 daughter graduated and the baby has only 2 more years until she does, .  Where has the time gone?   I have been talking and seeing an old best friend of mine Robin and she is auntie to our girls. We had a falling out a few years ago about money.  We breed our mare to her stallion and paid her 1/2 but were unable to pay her the other 1/2 for 3 weeks, due to we used that money to pay for husbands grandma's medicine that she could not afford.   We thought she would understand, we were wrong.  Robin is now teaching baby bean how to ride English after riding western or bare-back her whole life. It is good to see her and renew our friendship.

I have been to the foot Dr. and he is not happy with the way my leg is healing.  On my x-rays you can see two different breaks that are nowhere near healed! .  He does not know what to do at this time, I see him again next week for an update.  But I have been seeing an acupuncturist and they have really helped with the swelling of my leg and getting the color back to simi normal.   The foot Dr. said I could ride again and I kinda tried today.  I got on Cody from the tail-gate of my truck and it felt real funny, I had no balance.  My baby daughter (16 yrs) lead me around for about 10 minutes and then I got off.  I have not ridden Cody in close to a year or more.  Shannon my hubby would not let me ride my pony Pops yet, because he is a ornery and fun to ride.  Shannon want to make sure my leg is healed more before I ride Pops.  I have not ridden him in 6 months!  I rode a few day before I broke my leg.   So I started working on Pops to get him back in shape after sitting for 6 months, it was good exercise for us both.  I will keep doing ground work with Pops until I get an ok.   I hope I do soon.  

Hubby and I were watching t.v last night and there is a show called "it's me or the dog", I told him to never tell me that because he wont win that one! .  I told him I could understand if my dogs were mean to him and tore up the house, but how they are forget it!  I would never give my Hope up! Hope is my picture on this site and the doggy love of my life!!  She has saved my life and is my protector.  Hubby did say though that when we are down to 5 dogs I can get my giant rottie , we have 7 dogs at this time.  So I am on the summer or fall of 09 breeding waiting list.  The girls think that is hord, but we do have Marty a soon to be 14 yr old Golden who is slowing down.  Marty is a service dog.  Then we have Freckles who is a soon to be 15 yr old Queensland Heeler.  Freckles is not doing so good.  She has a hard time walking , she falls down a lot, we do not think she will live to winter, we hope she does but we just do not know.   So the Rottie puppy will not be here until some time in 2010.   I am still looking for a few good Goldens to add to our breeding program and of few other breeds.   As most of you know I breed service dogs.

Bubba and Jeffie with pictures

It has been such a blessing having the grand-babies back down here.  They have been with us for a few days because Michelle ended up in the hospital er for very bad head aches and her head swelled.  But Jeffie has been with us most of the time because he doesn't want to leave here.  But they both left today until Saturday night or ??.

Jeffie has a favorite place to sit when he is here.  It is on Bubba's (my hubby, he is called Bubba because he is carring on the family tradition of male grandpa being called Bubba, I named my grandfather Bubba, my girls called my dad Bubba and the torch has been past on to my hubby)  shoulder  Jeffie will crawl up on his shoulder they will talk and watch fishing and hunting shows.

Blessings and a death

Michelle is coming a round!  She is becoming Michelle again!   She is moving back down here and leaving her boyfriend, Ryan.  Ryan has a drinking problem and does not treat Michelle right.  He is the one who told her he can not stand her F word kids.   Michelle has been down for a few days.  She will be moving in with her best friend and working at a country bar, it pay well.   She is looking forward to supporting the babies and being the mom she needs to be.  Our prayers have been answered, we wanted her to be the mom God wants her to be.   I am glad she is leaving Ryan, he just does not treat the babies right nor Michelle.  We are going to help her as much as we can.  But we told her we will only babysit the babies a few days a week, not having them live here unless it is needed.

On a sad note, we lost Daisy one of the baby goats in the house today.  Daisy  has been sick for a few days.  She was acting fine earlier this morning, they just went down hill.  She passed on in the baby's( youngest daughter) arms.  We are very sad at her passing.

The babies are here and pictures

Michelle had to do some more paper work at the court house for her divorce and  she needed to have it done by tomorrow. So she came down here today and we get the babies over night! !   I told Michelle that she needs to teach the babies that they are coming over to visit us , not to live here again.   She said she will work on it.

Here  are pictures of the grand-babies from today.  I will post more later, as we are going to have a birthday dinner for Maddie she turned 2 yesterday and we got them veggie tales seeds to plant in a cute veggie tales little planter.  They love to help me in the garden , so we got them one of their own.

I am so glad Michelle let us see them and keep them over night.  It was funny when Maddie got out of the car she saw bdd(baby daughter) and said "mommy I am home".  I hope in time they learn they are just visiting, not living here again.

Well we are off to eat dinner in a few and enjoy the grand-babies and Maddie's 2nd birthday.  I will post more pictures later.

Goats they are all here.

Well at the goats gave birth.  We now have 4 mommies, 1 daddy and 8 babies.  We still have 3 babies in the house.  Bdd (baby daughter 16 yrs) is trying so hard to keep her 2 baby goats house goats, in the house forever !  She keeps telling them they can stay until she gets married (many years from now ) and then they can be house goats with her husband! 

I laughed and told her they can be the maid of honor and best man , even though they are both girls  !!  We all most lost one thought the other night.  We had one bloat so bad we did not think she would make it.  But my mdd (middle daughter 17 yrs) walked and rubbed her left side all night long.  Well she passed all the gas she had and made it.  We are very happy at that.  She is such a sweet and mellow goat we hope for her to go to a petting zoo , her brother tooo.

We do have a buyer for all the goats, we just need to decide who to keep and who goes to a new home and to see if we can find a petting zoo for the 2 mellow ones.  With the girls getting so much older going to college we are trying the key word is TRYING to cut done on some of the animals, again TRYING.  We want the farm life still and will still rescue but we will start to adopt them out instead of keeping them all.  so far we have cut down on the birds, chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys.  Now it is the goats turn.  We have also cut down on horses.  We have 4 at this time.  We will save more when I am up and running again, but they will be adopted out. Oh and the  rabbits have been cut down, as the older ones have passed and we are down to one, of course the girls want 1 more for a friend of the one, but we are standing with a firm NO.   We also will not be getting anymore cats.  We have 4 house cats , we lost one in Feb or we would have 5.  Hubby says we can have barn cats but no more house cats .  We like cats.  I have one that sleep on me or hubby every night, she is so kind to share HER bed with us.  but she does bite us if we move to much.   My favorite thing Mama (cat) does is in the winter 2 of our dogs sleep in bed with me and under the sheet and Mama lays half on me and half and the dogs under the sheet too.  She like to be warm, me I do not need any thing more than a sheet all winter the animals keep me warm.  But we still have 7 dogs and I hope to get more....  for my breeding program  &    .  But I still want a 150 lb plus rottie.

Dog Beds???

Ok who made up the name dog beds?  I have seen my cat's sleeping in the so called dog bed.  I have seen goats sleeping in the so called dog bed. 

But this, I have never seen in my dog bed:

Lets see that is one 16 year old daughter, 2 baby goats and one cat in my so called dog bed .   I will tell you this much, everyday I am getting closer to see it all .

You might wonder where were my dogs while their bed was being used?  On the floor, the poor dogs .

I know I have a zoo, but the inside of my house is turning into a zoo!

My poor husband never know what he is coming home too

For those of you who read my blog you know from my writing that my girls are just plane nuts!  Most days my husband never knows if he is going to come home to more "rescues" or what new will be in the house!   Hey ,we just can't help it!

 The Girls were really (ok realllly boardddd) board the other day and well they made supper hero's!  Up the made 3 of them.  So that is what greeted daddy when he came to the door.

The girls put a baby goat in my lap to help me and she fall a sleep and slobbers on the computer! 

I have more for later, tonight the baby fell a sleep in the dog bed with the 3 baby goats!  Oh and buttons started to give birth she has 1 boy so far.  More later.

Michelle update

Last night while I was venting to God about Michelle I saw that the kids do probably have bad attitudes when they go back to her.  I looked at it the way the grand babies do.

The grand babies have lived here off and on so much of their lives.  This is there home too, the only place they have a stable home.  They probably think that when they come here they are home, because they stay for days.  They settle back in the life we have and blossom.  Then here comes mom , they cry and run to my daughters and say no. Jeffie cry Tea (Taya) no just clings to her.  Maddie will go see Michelle but then runs off.  The babies do not want to leave.  Michelle makes them go.  Michelle has even slapped Jeffie because he wanted Tea (Taya).

  So they are lost, because they do not understand that they are here for a visit, not to stay as they are used to.  So of course they are going to behave off, they just do not understand.

But Michelle is wrong to blame us for that.   It is her fault for it.  She choose to not raise her kids, to stay here and there , to not have a home for them, not us.   I would like for her to open her eyes and see that , but that will never happen.

Michelle

Michelle hurt hubby and I today.  She and Ryan come down here and dropped off the kids at her soon to be ex-moms-in-law, and drove to San Diego to she Ryan's friend who just go home from serving in the war.   Michelle called to make sure we got the fishing pole she left at our door, I said yes and asked if the kids are having fun.  Michelle says yes they are having a blast , I said good she then said they are with Rhea her soon to be ex-mom-in-law who has not seen the kids in months.  We do not mind them seeing her at all, we are just not liking the way it was done. 

We love Michelle and the grand-babies it is just hard to see them all on the road they are on.  We will be here for them always.

Michelle update

I talked to Michelle again today, she seems to be happy.  She does not know when the will be having Maddies birthday party or where.  She told me her father is coming to see her the last weekend of this month and is maybe looking to move there. 

Michelle told me where she wants me to go shopping for Maddies birthday gifts, Carters.  But then she told me they just got the kids $290.00 worth of clothes for $140.00 there , so why would I shop there and risk buying the same items?  I have a ton of clothes for the kids I am going to send to her because we don't think the kids are going to be living here again for a while, at least at the size clothes they are in now.  So why waste her money on clothes?  We dress the grand-babies very well.  We will keep some on hand just in case, you never know.

Answers to Michelle and I do not agree on this:

Some people have left commits on my last post about how Michelle might be jealous because the girls were treated different.  That is true and not true.

Michelle was treated the same as her sisters and different at the same time.  Michelle did things that got her in trouble.   So yes, Michelle was treated different because of the choices she made and the problems she caused.  In our home it is" you do the crime you do the time" meaning you will be grounded for your wrong doing.  But, that is the same for all the girls.  They all have been brought up the same.  The same rules.  They are treated the same.  It was just the choices Michelle made that get her in trouble.  We were not over hard on Michelle just firm.  Michelle choose to be wild , to break all the rules.  My husband and I could not ignore what was being done. 

 I think Michelle wants what her sisters have now, but she is married and living with her boy friend.  We have offered to pay for her to go to school and give her a place to live , also we told her we would fully support her while she would be going to school, that means the babies too.   That is the same we offer her sisters.  We will pay for college and fully support them while they are in school and until they leave home to get married.  This means for all the girls cars, clothes, phones, car and medical insurance, and so on.  We feel it is our job to bring them up right and to support them until they are married (then they become hubbies responsibility) not until they reach 18 years old.

We might be odd that way, but that is how we feel and who we are.  My husband works very hard to make sure he can do this for the girls.
