He Came With Caribou Meat and a Quad
We had a great visit the
past two days with one of my husband's friends. He's also a
firefighter, and he builds beautiful homes. He's a single guy, (quite a
catch, too, single girls!) and comes to visit us once in awhile (not
nearly often enough!). He brough his Quad for the boys to ride around
the pasture on, and some packages of tasty Caribou meat for me. He's a
serious hunter, and always brings some good meat when he visits. I'm
alsways sad to see him leave.
Ben is sick with a fever and headache, my back is out, and the goats
robbed the grain from the tackroom, and ate enough to get themselves
very ill. We had to go buy Keopectate and dose them all twice today.
The guys have to clean the barn now, as they were loose with the runs
and it's everywhere. Not good!
Narnia came out on DVD today, so of course we have it already. The kids
have been counting the days with anticipation. Tonight after the barn
is clean and the other chores are finished, we will airpop some corn
and snuggle up for our movie. We don't feel right withoout Tori though.
She's spending her spring break at Doug's sister's with her cousin and
best friend. She is missing out! She thinks she's got it good right
now, 'cause she gets to eat white bread and drink soda pop, but she's
missing out on quad rides, caribou slim jims, and Narnia! Ha!
Well, I need to go take a nap. My back is killing me.

2006-Apr-5 - Ouch
Hope your back gets better quickly. The Narnia movie is AWESOME. I can't wait to check out the extras! I took my youth group to see it in the theaters but waited for DVD for my kiddos so that we can pause it and talk about what's happening . . . .
