I have been sick since before Christmas and am dragging. I am on the
verge of a migraine today, but still feel like praising the Lord. My
buddy Tara and her family are back from Boise and it seems like they
were gone for a month! It was really just a week and a half, but...it
seemed longer!
I have spent my time pouring over seed catologs
and purusing my new cookbook. In the afternoons I get oout to the barn
to milk and feed, but other than that I am spendig my time with a
blanket in my new glider chair. I am hoping to feel much better soon,
as we are starting up all of our activities again: Friday night home
fellowship here, a women's Bible study, a homeschool support group and
co-op, and the children and I will start up our lessons as well. I
need alot of energy for all that and I have zilch right now!
I ordered a new milk pail for this year; a bigger one with a lid. I
will have a couple more milkers this year and needed a larger pail.
They are pretty expensive, being stainless steel. It was something I
have wanted and needed for awhile. I also ordered some soft cheese
molds and plastic collars for the goaties. They need collars, but a few
of them get a bald spot where they rub that is unattractive, and I like
them to be beautiful

I have chosen a couple of does from the Sand-Bur Kids herd (did so well
at the nationals this year!!) to get a buckling out of. They are in
Oregon, so it will be a nice little drive to pick him up in March or so.
I feel rotten...but I know there is so much to look forward to
and do and learn- and I have a great family and great friends to share
it all with and am so looking forward to 2006!
Happy New Year Everybody!!
