Helpful Link for Goat Owners

I just got my last doe bred today (finally!!) and got her due date put on the calendar right off the bat. Vital information! Goats tend to repeat themselves, even including the time of day (or night) they give birth. Not always mind you, but generally. I keep careful notes, so I will be well-prepared, and hopefully no surprises.

(This pic was of the children and I at the Grand  Canyon. It dates about 4 years ago, when we were free to travel!!!)

Here's the link mentioned in the subject line: http://fiascofarm.com/goats/duedate.htm
It's a handy 150 gestation day calculator. You type in the date of the breeding, and push a button. It calculates the due date for you! Very cool.

Well, it's back to brewing soups and teas. Hubby and I are sick with some kind of yucky thing in our chests. He has been sick a long while. I went and restocked my herbs and supplements, and bought some real, loose green tea. So...back to business.

I just got back Sunday from our road trip to NC, it was GREAT! This was the first time I had ever seen mountains like that. I told a friend of mine after seeing this (the mountains), I would love to visit CO and see the Grand Canyon.
