It's entirely too hot to do anything outside unless it's completely necessary. Not much is.
Alot of people here have pools, and so the kids have been enjoying the hospitality of others, as our pool was filled with dirt by the last owners. Silly. Their dog had drowned.

I have piddled around the house today (after my Sunday nap!) whiling away the scorching hours inside where it's cool. I rebottled my spices and printed out labels for them, I washed some nasty windows. (they get that way with little children and dogs always pressing their noses and paws on them) and I used the crockpot to cook again. Always handy- doesn't heat up the house in summer, and simmers up a good dinner when I'm busy.

I'm making sun tea on my back deck. I don't care about all that bacteria talk. It's a tradition in the summer and I haven't died yet. If you don't hear from me for awhile, I guess you should stop drinking sun tea!

I have a couple gallons of milk in the fridge, so tomorrow I will make some cheese. Not sure what I'm in the mood for yet. I have an order for a new culture in, so by the end of the week I'll start making feta quite often. I might make some cream cheese tomorrow, as it's so good in the summer as a spread.

I am trying to decide on the best study material for a daytime Bible study in the fall for the ladies in my community and church. Any suggestions? I have alot- just can't quite decide on the "right" one yet. Praying about it of course.

Well, it's time to feed the goats and put the babies in the "nursery stall" for the night. (that way I get their mamma's milk!)
