The Land is Calling

Havent been here in FOREVER!

Hi all,

I have not fallen off the face of the earth, just off the face of homestead blogger.

We moved to our 15 acreas and I have been busy. This is an older home and it has needed some work, the land also needed some work. So we moved in October and have enjoyed Fall, WInter and now Spring is upon us.

I have my garden plot all ready for tilling up this week and I am EXCITED to get working in the dirt. Also my honey has plans for my chichen coop. I cant wait to have my  chickies and all those lovely eggs. Next I would like some goats.

You know it was one year ago when we moved from FL to TN with just a dream of having some land. God has blessed so much more than we could imagine. He has given us more than we dreamed. He has even led my honey into a wonderful job that He loves. He is a builder now and it just fits him and his gifts and talents.

So we mowed for the first time yesterday, wow weeds grow tall and faster than grass. Now I want to be outside all the time and not inside anymore. It is lovely here with all the flowers poking out of the dirt and my trees are blooming. The new leaves are starting to come out and are the most beautiful shade of green.

So I wanted to stop by and say hi again. Hopefully I will be back shortly I have lots of ideas and fun stuff rolling around in my head and spirit. This is always a good place to share those kind of thoughts.
