The Land is Calling

Tonight we found a little pug wandering in the street without a collar. He wasn't by any home so we pulled over and he came right up to us. He was panting heavily and looked like he needed some love. All of my kids immediately love him and we named him Banjo.

The bad thing is since we are renting right now we cant have an animal unless we want to pay $350 non refundable pet deposit, which I don't want to pay. So even though he was very cute and shouldn't be outside. A pug is definitely not an outside breed. We couldn't keep him.

It was sad and my older kids cried, they have tender hearts toward animals. I am praying that since we were in the country maybe he knew how to get back to his country home??? Who knows?
