Today plans for nice weather, maybe I'll get into the flower bed off my patio. I like to plant annuals there. The soil needs much attention, but I feel that marigolds should do alright, as they seem to be very tolerant.

Kaylee (granddaughter) should be arriving son. I keep her 3 days a week. Makes for a busy day with schooling for the boys. I need a plan to keep her occupied while doing school with my two guys. I usually do a little preschool with her and that helps.

We'll go to the library today. We've been reading Patricia Polacca's books as an author focus and have been really enjoying them. I love her artwork, especially the goats! She is a wonderful children's author/illustrator.

Paul woke up extra early, and Dad slept late. Dad will be off to work here soon. Paul likes to help me with the milking, so we'll head out for that. He also has started to take care of the chickens. It is nice when the young ones are able to help with some of these chores.

Breakfast will be banana muffins. I have horribly freckled bananas to use...I hate to waste anything. They will make the muffins nice and sweet.

I hope to start a sewing project. I saw a tote pattern using a plastic grocery bag. I have *so* much fabric...mostly lovely calicos. I think I'll do a patchwork one in yellows.
