Funny Fridays "WAKE UP, THERE'S A CRAZY MAN SHOOTIN' MY CHICKENS"I thought I would start a new category entitled "Funny Fridays" and post some of the funny things that have happened to our family or our friends.The one I want to tell you today happened last summer. We live in a subdivision. Our house sets back away from the other houses, so we have more privacy than anyone else. Our neighborhood is very quiet, so you can imagine how startled we were when we heard gunfire at 2:00am in our backyard. I woke up and looked out of our bedroom window and could see the fire come out of the gun as it was firing again. I woke my husband up yelling, "There's a crazy man in the chicken coop and he's shootin' my chickens!!" My husband got up and went outside and hollered at the "crazy man". It was my father-in-law, his father!! (they live downstairs) He had his bedroom window open and heard the chickens squaking and thought he would see what was wrong with them. A 'possom had gotten in the coop. So he became the "Opossom-nator" and protected our chickens from this entruder. What would we do without my "crazy" father-in-law "man"?
