Bantam Chicks

Posted on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 08:12 in In the Barnyard

I'm ready to get some chickens!  I have decided that I want banties.  They'll be more for entertainment than anything else.  Of course, we'll use the eggs, but we're not real big egg eaters around here (husband is allergic and I don't like them).  But, I do cook with them and my son likes the occasional scrambled eggs.  My son is going to be able to start 4H next year and banties would be great for him to start with I think.

I'd love comments on the best kind to get, and ideas on where to get them from.  I know Atwoods has them, but I don't know what kind.  It just says bantams on the sign.

Country Blessings,
Jamie
