John McCain on Ellen

Posted on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 09:42 in Daily Life

I was watching Ellen this morning and John McCain was on it.  She asked what his thoughts were on her being able to get married now in California.  I expected to see him say something to make it sound like he's all for it, like alot of other political figures, but he didn't.  He told her in a very nice way that he disagreed with it, that he believes marriage should be between man and woman.  He did wish her every happiness but told her that he does disagree.  Ellen was very courteous as well.

Got a new camera!

Posted on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:19 in Around the Farm

I got a new Digital Camera and I think I'm really gonna like it!  I've had an Olympus C-765 for the last 4 years and it's a very nice one, but doesn't have some of the features that I want, and me, being the electronics junkie that I am, thought it was time to get a new one.   I got a Canon Powershot S5 IS.  Of course, by the time I got home it was dark out, so here are a couple of outdoor night mode pics.

Guinea Question

Posted on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:46 in In the Barnyard

I have 3 guinea keets and they have all their feathers.  I have to get them outside because they are starting to fly out of their box in my house and I just can't have that LOL.

Anyway, the temperature here is 63 degrees and the night time lows are probably in the 50's.  The next couple of days will be in the 80's.  I have a cage that I will put them in for a couple weeks so that they don't just run off.

My question is, are the temps OK right now to put them out?

Thanks!

Country Blessings,
Jamie
