In my last post I mentioned my yearling doe Willowbee who was due to kid. We were not there when she had her doeling and we think it froze, so chalk that up as another loss... but

we have new chicks, ducklings, and baby turkey (what is a baby turkey called?) Picked them up at the post office this morning :) Here are a few pics.

I love the pictures, looks like we could just pick one up! We are waiting for baby chicks to arrive soon, glad they are not here tonight as it is very cold!!
Baby turkeys are called poults I believe.

It's always so fun when our 4-H meat chicks come in the mail each year! Equally as fun is finding a chick or chicks under one of the mama egg layers:-) I'm sorry you lost another kid, though!
