Caterpillar Photos

Here are a few photos of our little painted lady caterpillars. The kit I ordered comes with a terrarium, and little containers to keep the caterpillars in. I decided in stead of having one or two caterpillars in the tiny little cups to put them all in the terrarium now. It's much easier to see! Also they LOVE to eat thistle leaves. I pick 3 or 4 large ones each day for them.

We're doing the same thing! Ours are HUGE! We got them from Insect Lore and are amazed at how quickly they grow. It's exciting, isn't it?

I wish you would show up on my bloglines rss feed thinger. You don't-which makes it hard for me to remember to check! ARGH!
Looks like lots of fun! I remember how much fun the monarchs were for us to watch-I am sure the girls will go CRAZY!
Corynn and I went down to the lake this past weekend on our trip to Grandma and grandpa's and went looking for pollywogs. Wanted to catch a few to watch the frog transition ourselves. We didn't get any-didn't even SEE any. Oh well.
