A Simple Woman's Daybook-A New Day to Start

Outside my Window...The trees are swaying softly in the wind. All is quiet elsewhere.

I am thinking...How happy I am that I FINALLY cancelled the satellite subscription.

I am thankful for... MY Lord and Savior. He meets my every need and is always there when I need Him.

From the kitchen... Nothing cooking. Only my son working on his  spelling at the table.

I am creating... A lesson plan for my DD's History.

I am going... Absolutely no where today. Tomorrow is another story.

I am wearing... my green t-shirt with my blue-jean skirt.

I am reading... well, trying to finish The Forbidden by Beverly Lewis. Almost there!

I am hoping... that the weather will cool down soon and stay cool. Not likely to happen for another month though.

I am hearing... The clacking of the keys as I type this out. Also I hear my son turning pages in his book. (He must be checking his spelling.)

Around the house... DD(17) is making a recipe book for her growing collection of recipes. DS is working on his spelling. DD (15) is taking a break before we start Biology. I am going into the kitchen to clean up and then work on the bath and bed rooms.

One of My Favorite Things...Going outside in the early morning hours while it is still cool and listening to the birds start up their chorus.

A Few Plans For the Rest of The Week...Going to a friends house tomorrow for fellowship and planning. A trip to the knee doctor on Wednesday. (Bum knee has had it.) Celebrating DD's birthday on Thursday. She will be 18 (where has the time gone?)

Simple indeed, but always a blessing!

Bless all who pass this way!
