Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window…The sun is shinning, it is about 57* (outside, and 45* inside) it doesn't look a bit cold outside. It is a beautiful Autumn day! Golden yellow, firebrick red, cinnamon brown and a hint of green. My favorite colors.
I am thinking…about getting the heatpump fixed so that the house can be as warm (if not warmer) as outside.
I am thankful for…the bright sun that warms the house during the day, and the many blessings the Lord has brought our way!
From the kitchen…I can smell the hear the lunch dishes being washed and laughter of the children as they talk for the animals outside the door wanting in.
I am wearing…a green t-shirt with a a mouse eating watermelon the front, blue diabetic socks, and my black sweatpants. Trying to stay warm :-(
I am creating… fall pumpkins and gourds out of gingham fabric. I also started my first ARTSY swap on swap-bot.com to create Autumn mice postcards.
I am going…nowhere today.
I am reading…nothing at the moment
I am hoping…that this week will be a little less busy and a lot more fun. I pray we get the dog kennel done so that we can all relax a bit.
I am hearing…The laughter of the kids as they finish up their chores for the afternoon, the dogs outside barking at the wind and the kittens meowing as they are let it for their daily meal.
Around the house…there is tons of work to be done. I am working on getting the office cleaned up so it can be painted.
One of my favorite things…Cute MICE, Cuddly Mice, brown mice, white mice, and umm did I say Mice!! :-)
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Painting the office and then preparing the bedroom to be painted.
Here is picture thought I am sharing....
* Share a Blessing!
