Make your own instant rice.

The next time that you cook rice, make extra.

Put the left-overs into small freezer bags, then

throw them into the freezer.

When you want some rice, boil some water, poke a small hole into the baggie, and pop it into the boiling water until hot.

This is a great tip, I usually just give the extras to the chickens, but I'm going to start doing this, thanks...........Kitty

Sounds like a great tip except for the plastic bag... I've heard that many plastics let off carcinogens when heated... Just thought I'd pass that on.
