Alternate Energy

Is anyone living off grid?

We have been trying to set up

a system all summer.

We are using a generator, plus

batteries.

We seem to be having trouble with

our battery set-up.

Plus, our generator seems to be wearing

down from all of the work out we have

been giving it.

We would love to set up wind power,

but haven't made it that far yet.

Anyone out there with some pointers,

especially concerning the batteries???

ok I have to ask - what is grid? I have been reading all your posts & figure its alternate energy. Found it interesting reading about your new toasters & making coffee without electricity.
