The day ahead

Well, after a semi-productive weekend, and entirely too much time off from our schooling, we are getting back to "the norm" around here. We'll do a short lesson today, as I know that my son will not be able to sit through an entire session of schooling today. So we'll work our way up to full time.

I started in on my Mission Overhaul this weekend, and got a little flustered as there was no method to the madness so to speak. I needed a little more organization than just running into a room and throwing stuff into a box. So I formulated a plan of attack and have decided I will take this a little more slowly than anticipated. Right now, I have boxes lined up outside of my laundry room, and as I wash clothes, I decide if there's something I want to keep, pack away for now, or go away. It seems to be working well enough.

So onto my plan for today. I am doing my best to keep up with the Flylady regime, as I know it will bring so much more peace and progress to my home. I know I will never do it perfectly and that's okay. As long as I'm striving to do the best I can, that's all that matters. Here's my list for today...

~Morning Routine

~Daily Chores-

     -weekly home blessing, laundry-towels, sheets, fabric, and diapers, zone cleaning-kitchen, 5 minute room rescue-sewing room, 27 fling boogie-throughout the house

~Pack 1 box of Son's toys

~Afternoon routine

~Bake 2 loaves of bread

~Before bed routine

I have also put up  a list on my icebox for my family of daily kitchen chores for everyone to do. They include...

Mom-Cook, wash dishes, supervise, etc

Dad-Take trash out(Sometimes I do that too, but usually he takes it out for me.)

Oldest-Run sweeper after dinner(we have carpet in our kitchen, I hate it), unload dishwasher, help mom

Middle-Set table for dinner, wipe down table after dinner, help mom

Youngest-Wipe down chairs after dinner, help mom
