Change of plans

Well, we had thought that hubby's parents were going to help us buy a house if we could find one, but they want to go ahead and look for a house to buy for themselves for when they move back home...in 2+ years, even though they already have a house that they're letting their daughter and her 2 kids live in for free. I can't say that I'm not a little frustrated, but I keep telling myself that it's all in God's plans, not my own. Our only choices now are to find another rental home for a lot cheaper, or to really find a way to buckle down and stay here. I'm for either one really, but I'm just not sure how much more we can cut corners, but if this is where the Lord wants us for now, then I'm sure he'll find us a way. Our lease is up in April, which is when the landlord will likely raise the rent, at which time we will have to move, but maybe the Lord will reveal His plan to us by then. Until then, I will have to work on that New Year's goal of growing where I am planted.

Staying here will give me an oppurtunity to really purge and get organized before we do have to move. I am planning a big yard sale the first warm weekend we have. As for garden plans, I will just plan to continue on with my container gardening, and hopefully expand past tomatoes and strawberries.

I'm still not sure what we'll be doing for New years. Probably just a quiet evening at home. A couple of friends might come over. But for now, I have to get myself and 3 children ready for church. I pray your day is abundantly blessed!
