Catching up...again

It always seems, I start the week off with good spirits and high hopes, but somewhere between Monday and Friday, I get lost and things get left behind and forgotten. Then Friday I realize, oh, I have so much to do! Now we have been busy this week with other things. My husband's grandpa passed away and the funeral was yesterday, and the rest of the day was spent mingling with family members I didn't know but I did manage to go to the store. So today once again, I am working on catching up. I have laundry and dishes to do, sewing and mending, sorting and decluttering, dusting and vacuuming, so for today, I am going to just work on doing what I can with all that. I've started by getting the washer and dishwasher going, and as I put clothes away, I am going to sort through what we have. My breaks will be spent sewing, which is what I love to do, and before dinner I will send the kids around with the dusters and then vacuum. Oh, and I also need to give the puppy a bath, and clean out the fish tank. 

Tomorrow we will be working on the shed and going through that with my hubby. We're supposed to go to a birthday party for a friends son, but it's at a place comparable to Chuckie Cheese, and we don't go to places like that, but when I tried to politely decline, she got her feelings hurt, so my husband told me to tell her that he said no, and if she wanted to be mad at him, that was fine. Not to mention that the party is an hours drive away. So I may go to a few yard sales in the morning and then home to work on decluttering. Well, I better get to work. Many blessings to you all.

I can understand so well about just catching up half the time. Sometimes, it seems that is all I do, catch up or just maintain. Then there are some days that I am able to do more and I wonder what is so different about those days. Oh well, we can only do what we can do, right? Good luck getting your blessings done.
