Blessings From Home | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Getting back to "normal"...Last night was a crazy night, we ended up taking my son to the ER in the middle of our "fancy" dinner to find out that not only did he have the stomach flu, but he was having stomach cramps because he was constipated. So after 3 hours there, we came home, and everyone crashed, except for mom who had to clean up after our "fancy" dinner. Before that all happened, I had a little breakdown with my husband who had been very cold all day and had not even told me Happy Valentine's Day. I told him that I had been trying really hard to do special things for him and make our marriage better, but he didn't seem to care and it seemed lately that we were just coexisting together, and that I missed when he used to show me he loved me. So we vowed to talk things over a bit more when things weren't so hectic, and we are going to try and do something special for our anniversary that is in a month, March 14. Other than that, I am feeling a lot better, and it appears that everyone else is too. I'm keeping both of my kids home because they both are having trouble with constipation(time to re-evaluate our diet), so they both got some child's laxative. I didn't want any accidents at school, so they're here with me. My plans for today are to get my home back in some semblence of order. It has majorly suffered over the past weeks when we have been taking turns being sick. All that I have plotted and planned to do in past weeks has either been undone, or not finished, so I'm starting over. I am managing to conquer the paper clutter a file a day. Projects that I've been working on have taken the back burner until I am able to get my house back in order. My goal for today will be to get my dishes caught up, my living room in order and at least 2-3 loads of laundry washed and put away. I would also like to gather and put away another file full of papers, and shred some of the garbage that needs shredding. If I get all this done, I will be one happy momma! For dinner tonight, we will be having Night 2 of my pot roast dinner, which will be the stew. I'm going to make up some homemade cornbread and probably go ahead and have some more salad to go with it tonight. Well all be blessed in the Lord and have a great day! { Post a Comment } { Last Page } { Page 452 of 474 } { Next Page } |
