Thursday Thoughts

I didn't post a homestead pantry challenge yesterday, because I was quite sick, still with this unknown stomach pains. I thought I had an idea of what it was, but when I took the medicine that I thought would help in the pain, it was no help at all. I am still having it today, but it's a bit better. So I will continue with my challenge today. As for the rest of the day and my cleaning schedule, well I'm afraid that it too has gone out the window, at least the cleaning part. I have been doing what I can to get us by. My dh is still sick with a cold, but is on the way to recovery. My youngest seems to now be suffering from an ear infection. Any remedies that anyone can think of besides taking her to the dr for an antibiotic? I told my son that I would come visit him at lunch time with a lunch surprise and visit him in class for a bit. Other than that I won't be doing much. Be blessed!

It's strange how much we never notice how much we do accomplish in a day until we are unwell and unable to do as much. Take heart that it's more important to spend time with your children than have a picture perfect home. Your son may remind you when he's thirty that you visited him in school, with a surprise lunch. I doubt he'll remember which days the house was messy on or say he was grateful you spent all day cleaning!. I hope you all feel better soon.
