WOW!! It feels good to be back! To those who were looking forward to more posts over the past month, I'm sorry I wasn't posting. I have been extremely busy. There is so much going on, I wouldn't even know where to start! We are all getting ready for Thanksgiving! We are having 2 dinners this year, one with my family and one with my husbands family. The girls are looking forward to a few days off of school. I will be posting some new ideas and recipes later tonight but for right now, my kids are complaining they are hungry (again lol). I hope everyone reading this is having a great week! Take care and God Bless! ~Kellie~ |

Well, I'm going to make this short and will write more later today when I get a chance. Things were really crazy around here all day. My dad had surgery for Colon Cancer this morning, so I wasn't getting much done at home. He is doing ok right now. The girls came home from school and could not behave for 1 minute! They were completely out of control today so now I am up late after re-cleaning the house. I will finish the rest in the morning. I will be working more on this blog and adding more recipes and ideas later today! So please check back tonight or tomorrow to see what has been added! Take care and God Bless! Kellie |

This is my first entry. Let me tell you a little about our family. My name is Kellie and I am a wahm. I have a website that has several online stores that I rep for. I will post the link at the bottom. My husband Paul works in construction. We have 5 daughters, Ashley 12, Sierra 10, Kate 7, Elizabeth 4 and Miranda 2. We are a Christian family that tries to live as simply as we can. Currently we live in a small town. We live in town but hoping to move soon somewhere out in the country with some land. I love cooking from scratch and making my own cleaners and laundry detergent. Hopefully I will be making my own soaps and shampoos soon! I would like to start homeschooling again, but Ashley and Kate didn't like it much, so the kids are in a really good public school. I might homeschool the younger girls when they are old enough. I am hoping that this blog will help other people learn different ways of doing things and that you can still do a lot even living in town. I also hope to learn from others new and interesting things and make some new friends in the process! I hope to be posting different recipes for cooking and cleaning that I use. So until then, take care and God Bless! Kellie My website: Kellie's Southern Comforts www.freewebs.com/kelliessoutherncomforts |
