Baby goat

   This morning as I was doing school, my little brother came running in to tell me one of our goats had had a baby. Now, you'd think this was exciting news, but my day was already packed with school and other things I needed to get done, so my excitement was limited. And when living on a farm and with the many number of baby goats we've had over the year, it's just not all that. Mom and Dad were just about ready to head into town, so Isaac and me went down and took care of it. The baby is a girl; she's brown and has a white marking on both her sides. She's pretty cute. It took her a while to learn how to eat, but she fianlly got it. Anyway, I've actually never had to take care of a new born baby goat by myself. Usually, my sister or my Mom is there, though with the convenience of cell phones I was able to talk to Mom. So that was nice. I'll try to post a pic of her later.  

   So, we finally have a little bit of sun here! I already can't wait until spring, though that isn't for a while. I'm really not a fan of snow or the cold, so I wouldn't mind if we had a short, short winter season.

Congradulations on your new baby goat. almost every year my family goes to the patterson's farm and pick strawberries. then afterwards we go look at the animals mostly goats and chickens.

Aww..I am so excited for your all's baby goat! That is exciting!!!
I can't wait until our goat's give birth! Are you going to put up pictures? I would love to see them!
